Achieving Spanish nationality is becoming simpler.
PERMIT
This permit will allow you to obtain Spanish nationality.
Depending on your original nationality, after 1, 2, 5 or 10 years of legally living in Spain, you have the right to apply for Spanish nationality.
For example, Filipinos can apply for a Spanish passport after 2 years of legal residence in Spain.
REQUIREMENTS
• Standard application model. The Identity Card Extranjeri (NIE) passport must be complete and legal in the country of origin.
• Birth certificate duly translated and legalized.
• Criminal record certificate of your country of origin, translated and legalized.
• Certificate of marriage of the place of celebration, if the citizen requesting the nationality by residence is married.
• Proof of payment of the fee.
• Criminal background in Spain. You can allow the Minister to verify it directly in your application.
• Registration certificate. It can be substituted by the authorization of consultation to the Ministry of Justice consigned in the application model.
• Diplomas of the Cervantes Institute that have passed the Test of Constitutional and Sociocultural Knowledge (CCSE)
• Spanish Language Proficiency Test (DELE). Some countries could be exempted by this.
PROCESS
