Work in Europe

Working in Europe

Surely you have heard of a residence card that you get in Spain and that allows you to work in other countries in Europe and this seems like a great opportunity.

There is a card that allows you to work in another country in Europe besides Spain.

It is not any country in Europe but the European Union. Not all countries located in Europe geographically belong to the Union.
Currently belong to the European Union.

This residence card to work in Europe does not allow you directly. In the country you go to, you must apply again for a work permit in accordance with the legislation in force in that country.

It is not automatic.

When you migrate to another country, you will carry a card that shows that you had work in Spain. You will not be an immigrant anymore. That is, you will have the same rights as Spaniards when they go to another country to work.

To be able to have this residence, you need 5 years of legal residence in Spain.

You must also be working at the moment of requesting it.

This shows that you will not be a bad citizen in another European country.

If your plans are to go to Europe to reside and work, you should take it as a process. First you must get that in Spain and once you get that stability they will have no problem in granting you the EU long-term residence card.
